In today's Straits Times Life!Mailbag section, I saw 2 articles written by X'ho's detractors about how he should get over his sad family background induced angst and that Life! should publish inspirational and uplifting stories instead.
My view #1: If you need more to write more than 4 words to tell someone to "Go get a life", I think you need to get a life yourself.
View #2: Be realistic! If the papers only publish fairytales with happy endings, why would people gorge themselves on tabloids. Why isn't anyone commenting on the issues he raised instead of picking on him? Of cos not, if they are familiar with mostly Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.
View #3: And what's with the comparison with Anthony Wong who came from a single-parent family with no further eloborations on his deeds of martyrdom (if any) for justification (perhaps it was cut off)? Do these people even know Anthony Wong very well to tell he isn't a manic depressive? Headshrinkers would be out of jobs I think.
