DPT doesn't arouse any emotions in me. I like the fact that most of the film is done at street level and not in studios. Of cos the gore isn't the selling point in this movie (just some human organs here and there). I find it lousy cos it's forgettable. The gore in 28 days later adds to the suspense only for the first half then the rest is hollywood crap. Are the censors sleeping or wat? This is RA material and now its only NC16. Then they go about cutting tiny sex scenes in chunks. Worse still, some shows can't even make it here. I watched Twilight Samurai. Suppose to be some tearjerking & macho show but i find it cute and hopeful. The rural backdrop was superb, the setting was twlight most of time with the intense orange flooding the fields. Beautiful. Here you see the bereaved samurai chopping woods, tending the kids, caring for his senile mother. Something we never see on samurai shows that display only the cool murderous facade. I love the costumes! Those robes and kimonos.
